How to Use Our Advanced Image Resizer
Welcome to our Advanced Image Resizer Tool! Whether you’re a designer, photographer, or someone resizing images for personal use, this tool is packed with features to give you precise control over your images. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to use it.
Key Features:
- Resize images by dimensions in px, cm, inch, or percent.
- Lock Aspect Ratio for proportional resizing.
- Set Resolution (DPI) for print or web use.
- Choose image formats: JPG, PNG, GIF.
- Adjust Quality from 1% to 100%.
- Set Background Color for transparent images.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Upload Your Image
Start by selecting or dragging an image into the tool. You can upload common formats such as JPG, PNG, GIF, etc.
2. Set Dimensions
- Width & Height: Enter the desired dimensions.
- Use the dropdown to select the unit (px, %, cm, or inch).
- Lock Aspect Ratio: Check the box if you want the width and height to maintain their original proportions.
3. Set Resolution (DPI)
If your image is for print, you might want to set a higher DPI (typically 300 for print, 72 for web).
4. Choose Image Format
Select your output format:
- JPG: Best for smaller file sizes.
- PNG: Best for images with transparency.
- GIF: Best for simple animations or low-color images.
5. Adjust Quality
Use the slider or input the percentage (1–100%) to control the quality of the output image. For higher quality, select a percentage closer to 100.
6. Set Background Color
If your image contains transparency and you want to add a solid background, use the color picker to choose a background.
7. Resize and Download
Once everything is set, click the Resize button. The tool will process the image, and you can download it by clicking the “Download Resized Image” link.
Best Tips
- For web use, keep the DPI at 72, and reduce the file size by lowering quality slightly (e.g., 80-90%).
- For print, set the DPI to 300, and keep quality high (90-100%).
- If resizing by percent, use the aspect ratio lock to maintain proportions.
